Claustrophobic Spacing

This is a brief extract from the film 'Kill Bill Vol.2' but is a major event that presents The Bride's power.
The bride in the coffin creates fear, although it's only a short clip from the film, it has a huge impact on the audience: making them feel sudden fear and ambushed.

Phone booths in films are also a great example of claustrophobic spaces as they create a 'no way out' feel and make the audience feel the suspense and creates fear.

This is a trailer for the film 'Phone Booth' starring Colin Farrell. The film is based in New York and a publicist answers the ringing phone. A slick New York publicist who picks up a ringing receiver in a phone booth is told that if he hangs up, he'll be killed... and the little red light from a laser rifle sight is proof that the caller isn't kidding. The phone booth builds up the tension as it shows that he can't escape easily or get help  easily
